Well, it’s 2015 and it’s time to break out a whole new year of drinks. So we thought we’d start with a layered drink.

- 1/3 Maraschino
- 1/3 Green Chartreuse
- 1/3 Brandy
Instructions
- Pour these carefully into a small wineglass. Do not stir.
“So, how is it?”
“Whew! Hhhhhot.”
The Verdict: Strong
From The Tasting Notes –
This is a strong drink. It starts off a bit like a Manhattan and then becomes sweeter as you hit the chartreuse/maraschino layer. Not bad, but honestly I would rather drink straight chartreuse or a B&B.

There used to be a popular non-alcoholic cocktail served before dinner in place of appetizers that was pineapple (I think, my memory is vague) and tomato juice, poured very carefully into a glass so that the layers were distinct. Very colorful.
