From Favorite Recipes of Home Economics Teachers, Dessert Edition, 1963

 1 pie crust, baked or graham cracker
 30 marshmallows
 1 cup milk
 2 squares baking chocolate
  tsp salt
 1 package whip mix (Dream Whip) whipped with 1/2 cup milk
 ½ tsp vanilla
 ½ tsp rum flavoring
 ½ cup chopped nuts or coconut

In the top of a double boiler put the first 4 ingredients and heat until melted. Cool.

Whip the whip mix as directed on package, add flavoring to whip and fold the 2 mixtures together, heap into the prepared shell. Top with coconut or nuts and chill 2-3 hours.
