 1 cup sugar
 1 cup sour cream
 ½ cup coarsely chopped raisins
 ½ tsp cloves
 ½ tsp cinnamon
 ¼ tsp salt
 2 well-beaten egg yolks
 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
 2 egg whites
 ½ cup confectioner's sugar

Combine the sugar and sour cream until blended. Add the raisins, cloves, cinnamon, salt, and egg yolks. Mix well. Turn into pastry shell and bake in a preheated 375-degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown. Remove from the oven.

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and beat until stiff. Spread over warm pie. Return to oven and bake until meringue is golden brown.
