Notes
Well, we aren’t Florida-bound or anything, we just wish we were.
Also, we left out the ice in the finished drink, because the ice in the shaker melted quite a bit while we were trying to get the drink together. It turns out when you cut an orange in front of a toddler, they immediately demand to have said orange. So you have to cut that orange up for them, and then get a different orange. And then cut most of that one for the toddler, too.
“Is it good?”
“Yes.”
“Does it taste like you are going to Florida?”
“No. It tastes like I am drinking a summer drink in the middle of our re-winter. Why is it so cold outside?”
The Verdict: Very Good
From The Tasting Notes –
This smelled and tasted amazing, especially if you are a fan of grapefruit juice. A fun summer drink. A pitcher of these would go over well at your next party!
Is that Don Ho on the glass?
Shelley – a little Googling says “yes’- but my first reaction was Brian Wilson, which shows you how little I know about Don Ho….
I thought it was John Denver!
I live on the other side of the state from you and I also wonder why it’s so dang cold outside. I’m totally using “re-winter”! Love, love, love this site, btw.
